Chamber of Commerce welcomes new Executive Director and announces Gail Logan’s retirement

The Perth & District Chamber of Commerce announces that Gail Logan, Executive Director will be retiring effective February 16th. The Chamber is also pleased to announce the appointment of Paloma Zander as Logan’s replacement.
“Gail has made significant contributions to the Chamber during her short tenure,” says President Brian Perkin. “Her passion for business, excellent marketing and promotion skills, as well as her fundraising acumen and member service have been sincerely appreciated. Gail will be very missed by the Board of Directors, members and staff of the Chamber,” Perkin adds.
When one door closes, another one opens and Paloma Zander was selected as Logan’s replacement.
Most recently, Paloma was a banking advisor and small business champion at the Royal Bank here in Perth. She has a Bachelor of Commerce in retail management from Toronto Metropolitan University, as well as demonstrated skills in entrepreneurship, e-commerce, social media and working with volunteers and Board members.
“Paloma will be a great addition to the Perth Chamber. Having owned her own business and her passion for empowering and helping people to thrive in all they do will serve the members very well,” says Perkin.
“I’m honoured to be selected as the next Chamber Executive Director and I look forward to meeting members and working together to understand the needs of businesses in our community,” says Paloma. “I can’t wait to bring my expertise and style to this exciting new role,” she adds.
