Perth Civitan Club is hosting a President’s Ball April 26, 2014

On April 26th, 2014, the Perth Civitan Club will be honouring one or our very own Hometown Heros!
The Perth Civitan is celebrating an exceptional honour this year as one of our members, Bob Robinson, has been chosen as Civitan’s International President. This is a very distinguishable position and with Bob’s years of experience with the Perth Club, we are extremely proud of him and confident that he will represent our Town of Perth and fill the role with perfection.
The Perth club will be hosting a President’s Ball which will feature a Prime Rib dinner with all the trimmings and an evening of dancing. It will be attended by many local dignitaries and other hometown heros and will be open to the public. It is sure to be a great evening of fun!
In addition to honouring Bob at this event, the Perth Civitan will be taking advantage of a fundraising opportunity and directing any proceeds from the event to one of Civitan’s core commitments, The Civitan International Research Center.
The CIRC is a center dedicated to improving lives through neurodevelopmental research and the prevention and treatment of developmental disabilities. Civitan clubs from around the world are the main supporters of this Research Centre and have made a commitment to fund it’s studies.
Many, many lives are affected by neurological or developmental disorders locally and globally and the Perth Civitan Club makes a great effort to help support local residents with these conditions on a continuing basis as well.

We will be holding a silent auction at the event and would appreciate the donation of any items you may be able to direct our way. As well, you can help out by joining in the celebration and attending the evening. It will be a chance to get dressed up, enjoy a delicious meal and dance the night away in style!
