Perth and District Chamber of Commerce Welcomes New Interim Executive Director
PERTH, ON – Tuesday, August 29th, 2025
The Perth and District Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the appointment of Rose Grieder as Interim Executive Director during the maternity leave of current Executive Director, Paloma Mazer.
Rose Grieder brings a wealth of experience in leadership, office administration, and community engagement to this role. She has skills that will serve our diverse membership and community well, with 2 master’s degrees in Communications and English Literature, she is also trilingual in English, French, and American Sign Language.
Her professional background spans the public, academic, and non-profit sectors, including senior positions with the Government of Canada, the University of Ottawa, Algonquin College, and organizations serving people with disabilities. In each role, Rose has demonstrated exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to fostering inclusive, respectful environments.
“Rose’s passion for uplifting people and her dedication to building welcoming communities aligns perfectly with the Chamber’s mission,” says Emilie McKay, President of the Board of Directors. “Her collaborative and inclusive approach to leadership will ensure that the Chamber continues to grow and support our members during this time of transition.”
