The Chamber is excited to be launching our “Feels Like Home” Radio Campaign on Lake 88. This buy local campaign will bring awareness to the community we call home and the importance of “getting it done locally”. The Chamber is happy to represent our four municipalities of Drummond/ North Elmsley, Lanark Highlands, Tay Valley and The Town of Perth. Starting the week of November 17th and going until Christmas listen for your Chamber Messages in support of our local businesses in Perth & District.
To complement the radio campaign we will be launching the 10 Reasons to Shop Local. The twist is that we will be promoting two reasons per week for five weeks. This promotion will be done through our Facebook Page, our website and direct updates to our members. Keep track of and share the reasons to shop local this holiday season and at the end stop by the Chamber Office with a list of all 10 and get your name in a draw to win a “Feels Like Home” prize!
We encourage you to keep the list on your mind as you shop but also to share it via your Facebook Page or whatever other means you can think of. The focus of our campaign is to raise awareness and get it done locally.
As well, we are launching our Pop-Up Store on Facebook for the Christmas season. Chamber Members are able to participate in this unique initiative by sending the Chamber their logo or a picture of themselves outside their business, a write-up of no more than 100 words about their business, two images (including one sentence about the image and it’s price) of products in their store or specials they may offer. Each week the Chamber will promote the Pop-Up Store and products on our Facebook Page, on our website and to our membership. Interested shoppers will be directed to go to Member’s business to purchase the items. Connect with us today and start sharing great gift ideas with your friends as wells as spread the word that Perth & District is where we get it done locally!.
So guess what? You get to LIVE in the kind of community city people dream about, writers pine for and magazines gobble up in pages of sugar coated snap shots! And when you shop, dine, or “get it done” locally – you keep it real. You support the businesses that grow the tax dollars that strengthen the community where you chose to live. A backyard with a workshop and a postcard Christmas. And that- feels like home
Be sure to listen for this radio ad and others starting on November 17th on Lake 88. Thank you to our sponsors; Advanced Alarm Systems, Bistro 54 Italiano, Smiling Cat In. and Storm Internet Services, as well as Lake 88.
