The Perth & District Chamber of Commerce and the Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) will be hosting a seminar to help Ontario businesses comply with Ontario’s Accessibility Laws.
The seminar will provide businesses with the tools and resources necessary to understand, train and comply with the requirements under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
By January 1, 2012 businesses and non-profits were required to:
• Create a plan to provide Accessible Customer Service
• Train your staff on Accessible Customer Service
• Keep your employees and customers safe
December 31, 2012
• Organizations with 20 or more employees were required to file a report
