Festival of the Maples

The Festival of 2010 was a tremendous success!  The weather co-operated from start to finish.  Crowds were drawn to the downtown core of Perth to enjoy the tastes of maple syrup and numerous other food vendors.  Artisans and merchants were dotted around the centre of town enticing the crowds with their wares.  Children enjoyed the midway, pony rides in the Tay Basin as well as getting to meet a real life fireman, police officer and many other professionals in the safety field.  Musical entertainment was eminating throughout the streets from start to finish.  What a wonderful day to welcome the beginning of the spring season!

Mark your calendars!!! The Festival of the Maples 2011 will take place on Saturday, April 30th.
