Golf Tournament

Each August, the Perth and District Chamber of Commerce hosts the Dorothy Griffith Memorial Golf Tournament. The tournament is always sold out and is a huge attraction for the business community.

The day includes 18 holes of golf with fun games streamed throughout the links, and participants then head back to the club house for a great dinner packed with silent auction items and door prizes!

In 2007, the Perth & District Chamber of Commerce lost one of our most active members and avid volunteers. Over the years Dorothy Griffith’s name became synonymous with the Perth & District Chamber of Commerce. Rarely did Dorothy miss a Chamber event or function. Many of you will remember Dorothy as the score keeper for the Chamber’s annual golf tournament, the first face you’d see when arriving at the Chamber’s Annual Dinner, AGM or Christmas Social, or the generous and giving person who could be called upon to lend a helping hand at any time.

This year marks the 5th Annual Dorothy Griffith Memorial Tournament which was renamed to honour what a wonderful person Dorothy was and the huge impact she had on our chamber and its members.
