Camp Otterdale, owned and directed by Jeff and Sue Brown, is a co-ed Children’s overnight camp offering 1, 2 and 4 week sessions to 150 campers age 7 to 15 years.
Located on beautiful Otter Lake, 20 km south of Perth, an hour from the west end of Ottawa and one hour north of Kingston, Camp Otterdale has been offering a quality camp program to children since 1955. Camp Otterdale is staffed by 60 Counsellors, 100% Otterdale alumni, some who have come to camp for over 10 years!
The Staff to Camper ratio is 3:1, and there are 22 water and land activities! Red Cross level 1 to 10, Bronze Med/Bronze Cross swim lessons are included in the camp fees.Activities include Water-Skiing, a brand new 42 foot vertical Climbing Wall, Archery, Drama, Wood-working, Sailing, Tennis, Mountain-biking, Drama, Fencing, Canoeing, Kayaking and much more!
Camp Otterdale promotes the five pillars of character development: forging lasting friendships, learning to contribute to the camp community, exploring and respecting the natural environment, learning to lead and to follow and the development of skills and self-esteem. The camp Dining Hall offers nutritious and delicious meals. An RN or MD is on-site 24/7 and we value safety at all our activities.
