Friends of Murphy’s Point Park presents….. North Burgess Heritage MICA Festival

Saturday July 31 at 8:00 p.m.

Join us at the Ampitheatre at Murpy’s Point Provincial Park for a rousing evening of songs and stories with David Archibald

Sunday August 1st from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Visit the Lally Homestead the the Silver Queen Mine at Murphy’s Point Provincial Park  (located about 2km from the main gate).

Homestead Activities

Olde-time children’s games and crafts; stories by Bear the Tinker, Blacksmithing Demonstrations, Music Entertainment, Rope Making, What Is It Box

Silver Queen Mine Activities

Take a tour underground into the mica mine; visit the miners’ bunkhouse; meet Cookie and other costumed interpreters, lunch of corn on the cob, maple baked beans and lemonade. (donations appreciated)
